Damar Hamlin met with an ill fate and before death could lay its icy hands on him, his body fought back and brought himself to life. The Buffalo Bills player is recovering from a cardiac arrest. However, in the past few days, crazy stories and conspiracy theories about what happened to the 24-year-old safety of the Bills erupted online. And another one came from a prominent former MLB player.
Aubrey Huff, who won two World Series championships, woke up to the news of Twitter reinstating his account in December. Twitter permanently suspended the former Tampa Bay Devil Rays player from the social media site for spreading misinformation about COVID-19. But it has only been a month and Huff is at it again. This time taking a mean and disrespectful shot at Hamlin’s life-threatening incident.

The 46-year-old proposed a theory that said the league is either covering up something terrible that happened to Hamlin or is trying to cover up his death.
In the past few days, the Bills QB Josh Allen had to shake off and tell people to stop coming up with crazy theories about his teammate. People theorized that a body double replaced Hamlin when he watched the divisional matchup between the Bills and the Bengals matchup. The reason this theory threw was that Damar wore clothes that hid his face. This led many to believe that it was somebody else under the clothes who was pretending to be the safety.

However, there were many users who agreed with the former MLB player. They wrote:
The videos from the game were beyond bizarre. The luxury booth he was in looked bizarre. No other people in the booth; not even a chair. Wearing full winter clothing in a heated space. That’s why Cincinnati won. They didn’t want to have to drag this story another week.

Bad shape, says my crystal ball. That was a huge neuro event, sounds like. People don't appreciate what that means.

A user thinks it might be true because the league wanted to amp up the viewer rating.
Maybe they just used the story to bump up ratings. I don’t watch anyway, so idk. 🤷🏻♀️

This fan things that the Bills used a body double when Damar visited and attended the Bills-Bengals game.
If they used a double at practice/pre-game, wouldn't players talk and let it out?
My best guess is he stopped by to see people, and then his mktg/PR team used a double so he wouldn't get mobbed..
just seems hard to believe all the players/coaches/drs would cover up a death
