Aaron Rodgers was injured in his first drive as a New York Jets shot-caller in the previous Monday Night Football. Less than 5 minutes into the game, Rodgers was brought down by the Buffalo Bills for a 10-yard sack, which resulted in his Achilles injury. Many Jets fans got concerned as the Achilles injury may even take a whole season to recover. However, Rodgers is trying out different procedures to get back on the field again.

He talked about the rehab options that he can undergo. But during his conversation, it was apparent that despite being one of the best quarterbacks, he wouldn’t be able to do much better in ‘Jeopardy!‘ because of his recent confusion in the usage of the word ‘modality’. The American Sports Analyst, Pat McAfee, didn’t go easy on the injured Super Bowl champion.

This Friday, Rodgers made an appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, where he was asked about his recovery details. Aaron Rodgers took up McAfee on his question and said, “I’m looking into a number of different modalities and one of them is, ” McAfee interrupted Rodgers right there, and asked, “What was that word you just used right there jeopardy champion?

Rodgers further said, “Modality, it’s different rehab modalities.” The Sports Analyst was still not sure about the word and asked him again. But by then, one of his teams pulled up the Google definition of the word ‘modality’, which didn’t seem quite right using it in that context. McAfee laughed hysterically as he said, “Oh you said something stupid, I just found out. That word doesn’t work.

Rodgers accepted that he didn’t what he was trying to do there, and moved on. Then he mentioned one bizarre procedure that he may opt for, going further into his recovery.

Furthermore, in the show, Rodgers stated that there’s one particular procedure, that he has in his mind, which may do wonders for his injury. He said, “There’s ideas that some of the noises from the dolphins when they’re love-making, the frequency of that is actually healing to the body.

Well, this sent an invitation to a flurry of jokes from McAfee’s side. The interviewer asked if the 4x MVP was planning to keep his Achilles up in the air exposed, while the “whistling” of the dolphins worked their magic on the injury. This sent a wave of laughter across the entire panel.

In all seriousness, Rodgers has recently taken the “first step” on his “road to recovery. Still, it was quite wholesome to see Aaron Rodgers coping with such a serious injury with light-hearted jokes and laughter.
