Pat McAfee might have just missed the magnum opus delivered by Lamar Jackson against the Colts on Monday and now he regrets it. His unfortunate sleepiness at the wrong time made him miss the most crucial and defining moment of the night.
The Ravens were trailing Colts 22-9 at the end of the third quarter, and that is when Pat McAfee strolled inside his blankets and called it a day knowing little of what was next to come.

Pat McAfee missed the late drama in Ravens vs Colts
The Ravens looked in no shape or form that they could have pulled off a victory from that big a margin. However, when Pat woke up the following day, to his surprise, he saw that the Ravens won 31-25 in an overtime battle.
That was the moment when Pat realized he shouldn’t have gone to sleep and took to Twitter to hilariously express his unease. He wrote, “I fell asleep after the 3rd quarter last night… WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?” And later, after binge-watching the highlights of the game, he gave yet another hilarious reply.

The game was a must-watch for McAfee as he made a bet with Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, a popular Maryland restaurant. “If the Colts win, Jimmy will donate $1000 in crab cakes to Indianapolis first responders. If the Ravens win, I have to purchase $1,000 worth of crab cakes for our listeners,” McAfee said in his talk show.

Lamar Jackson delivered a masterpiece comeback
Talking of Lamar Jackson, he literally made jaws drop in the stadium, and all who were witnessing the game unfold in the last few minutes. He miraculously finished 37 to 43 passes with 443 yards covering with zero interceptions and an exceptional four touchdowns passing. All of which came after the third quarter.
His tremendous spell against the Colts made him the subject in week 5. He is literally a top contender for the 2021 season MVP title, as he has delivered in every single game after week 1.

However, in his next matchup against the Chargers, it is to be seen if he delivers the same numbers again. And if he does, Pat McAfee has to make sure he doesn’t go to sleep by then.
