This season has been a true roller coaster ride for Aaron Rodgers. After spending almost 18 years with the Packers, the 4x MVP now leads the Jets, a team he has long coveted to be a part of. Finally content and happy, the starting QB recently moved the NFL community with a generous gesture, waving off an enormous burden for the Jets. He agreed to a staggering pay cut worth $35 million, setting the team up for the next two seasons, allowing them to worry less about the burden of a huge salary and focus on bringing in more players to the roster.
Similar to Tom Brady, A-Rod didn’t mind the sacrifice and showed his genuine love for the team in a recent interview. He shed light on the contract and the intentions behind it right after his recent training camp.
