Brazilian Supermodel Gisele Bündchen’s life has undergone significant changes in the past few months. After sharing over a decade of marriage with NFL GOAT Tom Brady, the couple decided to split last October. Ever since her marriage with Brady, Gisele Bündchen had prioritized creating and taking care of a family over her career. After dedicating all her time to raising their children, Gisele is finally making a comeback in the fashion industry after her divorce from Brady.
But years before the Tom Brady episode in her life, Gisele wrote in her book ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’ about she came to terms with her values and priorities through introspection.

In her book, Gisele wrote about how one should not feel confused with personal diversities. No two people are the same. So it is important to understand that we cannot expect others to be the same as us. Gisele wrote that during her teen life, she often dwelled deeply in introspection, as she had hundreds of conversations inside her own head. This helped her understand her priorities at that point in life.

Gisele wrote, “Who am I? Was the most common one. Am I who other people think I am? If not, am I hiding who I really am? Am I drinking too much? What’s my limit? Should I stop smoking? There were others too: Am I someone who needs to spend time alone? Do I like going to parties, or do I feel more comfortable around a small group of friends? What sorts of romantic relationships work best for me? This type of questioning, I’m guessing, takes place inside all our heads…..”

Gisele’s had a 13-year-long marriage with Tom Brady, raising three children together. Before Brady, the Brazilian bombshell was dating Leonardo DiCaprio. But after meeting the former NFL QB, Gisele felt like TB12 was the perfect match for her.
The Brady-Bündchen relationship over the years
The couple met for the first time after being introduced by mutual friends in 2006. She told Vanity Fair Magazine that when she laid her eyes on Tom Brady for the first time; she had this feeling that he was the one for her. After dating for two years, they got engaged in January 2009. They then tied the knot quickly in February 2009. The couple shared their eldest son, Jack, with Brady’s ex-wife, Bridget Moynahan. Gisele then gave birth to her own children with Brady. She gave birth to son Benjamin in 2009 and daughter Vivian in 2012.

But Brady’s decision to un-retire 40 days after announcing his retirement last year led to tensions unfurling between the couple. Gisele wanted TB12 to spend more time with his family and children, instead of always focusing on the game as a priority. The couple then decided to end things in October 2022. But even after their split, they are working together to co-parent their children and provide the best for them in this life. The couple is even planning to have houses next to each other in Miami for their kids.
As both Brady and Bündchen continue to live their life post-divorce, fans will be excited to see what lies ahead for them in the coming days ahead.
