Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have been the centerpiece of the NFL for the past few days,. This is regarding the complicated relationship they share. All the rumors, speculations, and projections circulating around them may have a different ring to it than what they claim to be the case.

The media have walked the relationship and the bond through different dimensions in the past few days. But how much of that is real or fake had been discussed within closed doors of the Bucs locker room after the matchup between the Buccaneers and the Patriots.

Bill Belichick met Tom Brady in the Bucs locker room

After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers handed the Patriots their third loss of the season at Gillette Stadium, Tom Brady relished the moment by meeting up with his ex-teammates and also shared a lengthy hug with his former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. However, his post-game catchup midfield with Bill Belichick was just momentary.

Seemingly, their meetup wasn’t what everyone supposed it to be and so speculations circulated around that as well. However, they did have a secret meeting in the Bucs locker room afterward, which lasted for 23 minutes.

Later, Belichick was asked about their relationship, which many perceive to be complicated, and their discussion back in the locker room. The coach replied he would rather keep that quiet. He added he thought a lot of what was being reported about him and Tom was untrue or misinformed.

It’s complicated…

“Look, we went against Tom Brady every day, every day in practice defensively. So it’s not like we’ve ever seen Tom Brady before,” Belichick said. “They are a good football team and he’s a great quarterback, and I think that’s all goes without saying.”

Although the two are believed to share a complicated relationship however in reality that might not be the case. From the presumed statements of Alex Guerrero accusing Belichick’s egalitarian approach to Brady’s departure to Brady disagreeing with those claims.

From the two sharing kind words during their respective pre-game interviews to them sharing a cold momentary hug after the match. None of their actions could help in forming proper conclusions.
