The New York Jets quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, never shies away from a commitment. It was with the Packers he spent his career till the age of 39, only then to live life in the Big Apple. Similar to his commitment to football, the 4x MVP has proven time and time again how much he’s invested in movies.
It has only been a few years since the NFL star playfully auditioned to be the successor of Daniel Craig for a James Bond role. The entire sports industry was in awe of the stunt, which only intensified over the years.

Back in 2021, when Rodgers was still with his former team, he pulled off an unusual stunt that kept fans excited for months. When it was noticed that the NFL star was due for a haircut, he teased fans, saying he was preparing for a Halloween costume with his hair. And when Halloween finally arrived, the 4-time MVP shocked the NFL world by cosplaying as none other than the assassin, John Wick.

Played by Keanu Reeves, Wick has amassed a massive fan base throughout the country, with 4 iterations of the series out by today’s date. And it was as much as famous back in 2021. It was on Halloween when Rodgers blessed his fans with an outfit and a look resembling exactly John Wick from the movie poster. He added in the caption, “I’m thinking I’m back,” a famous line from the movie when the protagonist announces his comeback. Rodgers concluded the caption with, “Para Bellum”, in the captions which translates to, “Prepare for war”.
In one of the pictures, Rodgers can also be seen running with a dog, mimicking the protagonist from the movie. While the pictures took the NFL world by storm, it’s worth noting that it’s not the only instance when he managed to turn heads with his costumes.

The 4x MVP once paid homage to an iconic TV character
With a passion for movies and TV shows, A-Rod is often vocal about his choices. Unlike the Wick costume, Rodgers once pulled off a killer-costumed, which unfortunately got unnoticed. The 4x MVP later revealed his outfit with a clean-shaven look, mimicking no other Jim Halpert from the famous sitcom, ‘The Office‘.
2 years before the Asian costume, Rodgers rocked a costume, mimicking Napoleon Dynamite’s Uncle Rico for Halloween, while his then-girlfriend Danica dressed up as Napoleon’s friend Deb.
