Tom Brady has gone through a lot off the field in the past year. He retired from football, then unretired, and went through a divorce, all of that in a single year. But he didn’t let that get to him on the field. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB led his team to a divisional title despite all the personal problems.

Brady snubbed his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen once again as he offered insights into the problems off the field. He really doesn’t want to think about anything else other than the ongoing season.

Tom Brady spoke about what being a professional means to him despite going through personal problems. And he snubbed Gisele Bündchen once again with just one sentence.

“We’re all going through stuff,” Brady said on the latest episode of his ‘Let’s Go’ podcast. The legendary QB then gave his take on being a professional despite personal problems. And he didn’t name Bündchen once during the whole conversation.

“Obviously we’re all professionals and wanna show up to work and do our best. That’s what professional means. As an amateur athlete, which is us in college, you’re not really a pro, you’re not getting paid. It’s not a job. When you become a professional, you try to take it to another level,” the Buccaneers QB said.

He said that a lot of players aren’t professional in their attitudes and so they don’t last in the long race.

“You show up every day with the best possible attitude you can have, you try to compartmentalize things. And really focus on what your job is,” Brady added.

The Buccaneers QB struggled initially while going through the divorce with his supermodel wife. But he has found his form back just in time to win the NFC South title. And with that, he has kept the dream of the eighth Super Bowl ring intact.

The dream lives on

Tom Brady reserved one of his best performances of the season for the biggest battle yet. The seven-time Super Bowl champion came to life against the Carolina Panthers in Week 17. The playoff road was simple for the Buccaneers, win the game and go through. And that is exactly what Brady and Co. did.

Brady threw a whopping 432 passing yards in the game with three touchdowns through the air. He also sneaked in a rushing TD for himself while he was at it. And the QB finally found a common wavelength with Mike Evans, who was at the end of every touchdown throw by Brady.
