Tom Brady is the best quarterback in NFL history. There is no doubt about it. But can he play as a wide receiver for a few plays? Apparently not.

Brady tried to pull off the WR role in a trick play when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers squared off with the Seattle Seahawks. However, he fell on his face, literally.

NFL World has a laugh

The Buccaneers had a 14-3 lead over the Seahawks in the third quarter of the game. They decided to go for a trick play on a first and 10 on the edge of the red zone. Tom Brady became the WR and running back Leonard Fournette decided to lob a pass to him from the center. But the legendary QB fell on the ground in what looked like a slip. The Seahawks’ defense capitalized on it and intercepted the ball to turn the possession over.

The Bucs won the game, but Twitter doesn’t forget. A Twitter user said that a 45-year-old should not play as a WR. Brady saw the tweet and jokingly compared himself to NFL legend Randy Moss.

The NFL World took Brady to the cleaners and had a good laugh about the play. Seahawks’ cornerback Tariq Woolen, who intercepted the ball, replied with a laughing emoji.

A fan said that Brady went from being Arnold Schwarzenegger to Mr. Chow in Hangover.

This fan tells Brady that he is tweeting because he and the Bucs won.

A Seahawks fan had compliments to give.

This fan wants everyone to stop mentioning Brady’s age everywhere.

A fan says there is no way Brady can beat Woolen one-on-one.

Even GOATs slip sometimes, don’t they?

If Brady had pulled it off, it would have been a contender for play of the season.
