It is no secret that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady seems to cherish the company of his wife, Gisele Bündchen, at every possible opportunity. Brady and Bündchen got engaged to each other in January 2009 and married some weeks later in the first of two wedding ceremonies.

While talking about the wedding planning details in a 2009 interview with GQ, the Buccaneers QB revealed, “We planned it in like ten days, and it was perfect… We went back to the house, and I barbecued aged New York strips. We had champagne, a cake, some ice cream. It was a great night.” The simple nature of the wedding and reception won the hearts of fans as they went home with their parents and son, John.

Brady also admits that inviting all his friends and family was part of his plan, but was happy about the private nature of the ceremony. The ceremony was an intimate Santa Monica nuptials, including a gorgeous church full of happy memories. The pair have even shared these memories with fans on their Instagram handles on their anniversaries over the years.
