An NFL player’s life has multiple nuances. There are obviously the rewards of a 7-figure contract that any top-tier NFL player earns. However, first and foremost, they’re football players of the highest level, and for a lot of these players, football has been the biggest part of their lives. They make sacrifices in every aspect of their lives and had a life of painful discipline to make it to where they are. Therefore, a release from their team is almost heartbreaking. Sadly, this is something that Ezekiel Elliott has been going through.

Elliot had been released by the Dallas Cowboys at the end of the season. Sadly, the running back has not yet been picked up by any other team. While the legacy running back and his quarterback have been receiving shaky messages from the Cowboys, Zeke was the only one who had been released. Furthermore, he hasn’t yet been acquired by anyone else. Due to the fact that Elliott’s future to play the game he loves is uncertain, the running back has been frustrated.

It is understandable that Elliott was frustrated after being released by his long-term franchise. Furthermore, the release seemed a little uncalled for, considering that the running back had 12 touchdowns to his name. And while he might not be the same player he was when he first burst onto the scene, he still has a lot of potentials.

However, it has been some time since there have been any updates in terms of him getting picked up by another team. According to sources, this has been a huge source of frustration for the running back.

However, it seems like fans don’t agree with the kind of frustration Zeke has been showing. While he did score 12 touchdowns last season, Zeke did not have the best performance throughout last season.

Fans brutally mock Elliott’s public rant

Admittedly, Zeke’s 2022 has not been his best season. For instance, the running back was only able to put up a record low of 968 yards. Furthermore, he only had 17 receives in the whole season. One fan mentioned how Zeke doesn’t belong in the NFL anymore and said, “He’s been XFL material for the past 2.5 years. Got Jerry’s money and was not the same back.”

Furthermore, one fan had a snarky comment about his performance last season and said, “Well I was frustrated every time he carried and fell after a yard gain.”

There was also a lot of frustration from Cowboys fans: “Many Cowboys fans like myself have been frustrated with his lack of production after signing that big contract.”

One fan also commented that Zeke is done with the league: “Haha he’s done in the NFL.”

Finally, fans seemed eager to push Elliot to a minor league and said, “On to XFL !! Have fun.”

All in all, it seems like fans were very unimpressed with the way Elliott was complaining about the fact that he had not gotten picked up by any team yet. They seemed to be more interested in Elliott’s underwhelming performances in the last season.

The ex-Cowboys running back hasn’t had a lot of luck with getting picked up by another team yet. However, it might just be a matter of time before someone recognizes his talents. It remains to be seen if he will be picked up by any team.
