While many within the Packers fanbase have developed a love-hate relationship with Aaron Rodgers over the years, one of his fellow competitors believes Rodgers was disrespected.

Speaking on his podcast, Richard Sherman sounded off on the Green Bay Packers for letting someone as valuable as Aaron Rodgers leave.

First off, I don’t think Jordan loves the quarterback of the future in Green Bay. You do. You had a great quarterback. 30 years. Good job. Welcome to mediocrity. That is where you will be for the next,” said Sherman intending his comments at the Packers franchise. Additionally, Sherman believes that the Packers lacked a sense of appreciation for the continued excellence Rodgers put on display.

In an attempt to lure in Aaron Rodgers, the New York Jets went after several of his Packers’ teammates. But the most crucial piece was in New York all along. Nathaniel Hackett and Rodgers have a brotherhood of a lifetime, going back to Rodgers’ days in a Packers uniform. Hackett was also among the many who visited Rodgers in California.

Just like many avid NFL fans, Richard Sherman is also looking forward to this reunion and the manner in which it translates on the field.

But what so if I’m here, jets y’all knows me. Well, y’all got Hackett. I know the offense. I’m gonna run the offense. Hackett Make sure those receivers are running the routes and know my signals when I get there. I see guys in training camp. Don’t worry about it. I’m Aaron Rodgers. He is Aaron Rodgers,” opined Sherman.
