The “questionable” call against the Seahawks

The main problem of Adrian Peterson was the referee’s call on two specific occasions. The running back says that he is not making any excuses for the loss. He and Seattle have been straight-up robbed.

The first call was for holding. In the third and 12, the Seahawks appeared to have stopped the Rams. The cornerback Bless Austin was blamed for holding. This penalty resulted in the Rams scoring a touchdown.

The second call was when the Seahawks were trying to mount a comeback. With around three minutes left on the clock, the Seahawks tried to pass the ball down the field. It was thrown towards the running back DeeJay Dallas. But a Rams defender supposedly touched Dallas before he could make the catch. The referees missed that call and gave Dallas a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Every Seahawks fan in the arena was furious. A couple of plays later, The Rams scored a field goal and increased their lead by 10 points.

Adrian Peterson calls out the referees

After the game, Peterson made a post on Instagram with a very long caption. The running back tagged the NFL, NFLPA, along with various media outlets. Peterson wants to figure out a solution that will hold the NFL officials accountable for missing the calls.

He claims that those “Blatantly missed and unwarranted” calls literally changed the whole outcome of the game. Peterson also said that his son, who is a fan of the game, was in tears and it broke his heart.

Adrian and his son both claim that the referees changed the outcome of the game and handed it to the Rams. The final result of the game was 20-10. Are we really to blame the refs?
