Lamar Jackson assuredly broke thousands of ‘Baltimore Flock Nation’ hearts with his announcement yesterday. After a long-drawn negotiation and not ultimately coming to a mutual agreement, Action Jackson finally declared his decision to part ways. And one Baltimore-based stand-up comedian’s Lamar-roasting made the internet roar in laughter. Even Lamar couldn’t help but share the hilarious video.

Comedian Stavros Halkias went on an emotional roller-coaster ride in the minute-long video on his Instagram account with more than four hundred thousand followers. And with many of them hailing from Baltimore, the video inevitably went viral, with even Lamar cracking up with laughter.

On Monday, former Heisman winner Lamar Jackson finally put it all on the table. The Baltimore Ravens tagged him with a non-exclusive franchise tag, not willing to tag him with a franchise tag worth $45 million or a long-term Deshaun Watson-type maximum guaranteed deal. And the 2019 NFL MVP wasn’t having that.

As of March 2nd I requested a trade from the Ravens organization for which the Ravens have not been interested in meeting my value, any and everyone that has met me or been around me know I love the game of football and my dream is to help a team win a Super Bowl,” LJ tweeted. Understandably, Purple Rain fan Stavros Halkias couldn’t keep a lid on his emotions.

Lamar Jackson thinks he’s too good for Baltimore. F—- Lamar. We don’t f——ing need you,” Halkias said, calling the dual-threat quarterback “overrated” and devoid of recognizable pocket presence. “Joe Flacco is a free agent. And you missed out on your big gambit. We got Joe Cool, who will lead us to another Super Bowl,” he said before breaking down hilariously.

Stavros ultimately showed his true color

Flacco only started 5 games for the New York Jets last season, throwing 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. And Stavros realized that all too soon, completely changing his tone and narrative in the second half of the video that began as an attack on Lamar Jackson’s injury history.

Halkias even put on his shades to hide his tears. “I’m not crying. F–k, don’t do it. Please stay Lamar. We’ll get the money. Please,” he begged before detailing a couple of unspeakable things he was willing to make his family members do to gather the desired amount for LJ. “I don’t want to lose to everybody in the AFC North again. Don’t go, Lamar,” he screamed and pleaded.

It’s hard to say if the comedian was able to convince the Louisville star to stay. However, LJ shared the video, regardless. “I love you all, despite how it may look or seem. But this is funny asf,” he wrote in a story on Instagram. Where is Jackson headed for the next phase of his NFL career?
