This Sunday, Aaron Rodgers displayed a decent performance, as the Packers won a massive game against the Bears. Win or lose, the Packers quarterback has always appeared on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’, usually on Tuesdays. However, this time he skipped the show for the first time, and McAfee seemed to have no idea about Rodgers not appearing on the show.

Apart from Rodgers, former Packers linebacker A J Hawk also appear on the show regularly. McAfee revealed that Hawk has been one of Rodgers’ best friends and even he did not know about the Packers QB.
Aaron Rodgers misses the Pat McAfee show for the first time
It is worth noting that the Pat McAfee show has been one of the most popular shows on YouTube for a very long time. Since Rodgers joined the show as a special guest, the show became more popular. As Rodgers was appearing regularly on Tuesdays, they unofficially named the show on Tuesdays, Aaron Rodgers Tuesday.
This week, at the start of the show, McAfee was sure about Rodgers appearing on the show, as he was telling the fans of the show. However, he did not, and he probably had a good reason. Speaking about it, McAfee said, “This was going to be an electrifying Aaron Rodgers Tuesday. I was excited about it, I didn’t even think it’s a bye week.“
Apparently, McAfee forgot that it’s a bye week for the Packers and he also did not consider that it will most likely be a bye week for Rodgers from his show. Then, he talked about his lack of communication with Rodgers beforehand. “Honestly, this exposes how much people think Aaron and I chit-chat. We do not chit-chat that often except for on Tuesdays when everybody looks at it,” McAfee said about his relationship with Rodgers.

McAfee earlier revealed that A J Hawk talks with Rodgers on a regular basis because he is one of his best friends. So, the former punter took a sly dig at Hawk as well for not informing him about Rodgers.
They started joking about Rodgers spending his bye week in a distant place holidaying. Earlier on Sunday, the Packers knocked the Bears out of playoff contention after a big win. However, their season could also be over if they lose one more game. There were plenty of discussions going on regarding Rodgers’ situation with the Packers next season. Rodgers also talked about returning to the team if there’s a mutual interest on both sides.
Then the HC of the Packers Matt LaFleur revealed that he would love to have Rodgers back. However, he is now focusing on the next game, despite having a bye week. Notably, the Packers will play the Rams on December 19, on Monday Night Football.
