The NFC North is one of the interesting divisions in the NFL, with the Green Bay Packers at the helm. The rivalry between Aaron Rodgers-led Packers and the Chicago Bears is fascinating and has a separate fanbase. Recently the 38-year-old quarterback marked his presence at the Pardon My Take podcast, a show run by Barstool sports, and discussed a wide range of matters. Although the host of the show, Dan Katz, was constantly pulling his legs, the veteran was chilled and seemed to have a great time. However, a twist in the story came when Katz expressed his happiness while Rodgers lost his playoff games each time.

During the interaction, Rodgers came forward with a question asking Katz, who also happens to be a Bears fan that if it was hard to admit that one of the greatest moments in his life was to cheer against Rodgers even if he wasn’t playing against the Bears.
Without a second thought, the host responded with a big “No”. He said that his greatest satisfaction was to see Rodgers lose in the playoffs, and he eagerly waits to watch such games. ” Every year, I look forward to the playoffs and the game that you’re going to lose,” the podcaster said on the show.

Kate narrated a short story saying that he waited 3 hours to listen to the commentary, admitting that Bears sometimes fail to meet his expectations. “when you guys lost San Francisco this year, we were watching the game in New Jersey. I drove back to Brooklyn back. For three hours I sat in my car…..So yes, watching you lose the playoffs is my Super Bowl. And I’ve won a lot of Super Bowls. If you do it that way. More than you.” he chuckled and explained proudly.
Well, the rivalry that began in 1921 between the two oldest NFL teams is still fresh. Per the records, the Packers have an edge above the Bears with a total of 103 games against 95 with six ties.

“Who knows how many years that is? But it’s definitely closer every single year. So I’m living my life with a little more perspective about how special the journey has been and less about what you don’t have, what you couldn’t accomplish, what could’ve been,” the veteran said in the interview. Rodgers is currently coming off a successful off-season on the work front. He grabbed a lucrative contract; however, lost his buddy Davante Adams to the Raiders.
