He actually texted me back from the locker room and you know, just cause he’s a close friend and I felt for him, watching his face and just putting myself in their shoes.” While we do not know what A-Rod said to Allen, it’s safe to assume that the QB sent messages of support during this tough time.

Rodgers was not impressed by the discourse after the incident

Before the NFL stated that the game would be suspended, the word going around was that the players would be back on the field to continue the game. Anybody who was watching the game would realize that the Bills and Bengals players were in no position to even entertain the thought of playing, let alone get back on the field. Rodgers said, “When I turned on they had just come back from break and said like ‘right they’re going to give them five minutes and throw ‘em back out there and I was thinking ‘What?’”
