The NFL franchise Brady refers to in the clip is unclear. But one could take a guess as to which team he was referring to. Apart from the Buccaneers, the San Francisco 49ers were a side in hot pursuit of Brady.
But in the end, the side decided to stick with Jimmy Garoppolo. The same Jimmy G who failed to dislodge Brady from his thrown at New England, and the same guy who is now soon going to be looking for a new job with the franchise drafting rookie QB Trey Lance.
