Receiving the ball from Tom Brady, Fournette showcased his short bursts of speed and rushed into the end zone. To celebrate the touchdown, he tossed the ball into the crowd, but it fell into the hands of an Eagles fan. Intended for the Buccaneers fan seated behind him, Fournette insured the ball went to him.

After tossing the ball, Fournette stuck around for a bit, making fans watching at home wonder if he incited a riot in the crowd. Instead, all Fournette did was point to the person who deserved the ball. In a brilliant display of sportsmanship from the Eagles fan, he passed the ball onto the Bucs fan, who jumped up and down with excitement.

Interactions with fans which take a strange turn are always hilarious. But this instance proved to be more wholesome. While he stole the show with his brilliant performance, Leonard Fournette also stole hearts with this beautiful gesture. The win must’ve surely made the fans’ day, but receiving the ball from Fournette [and the Eagles fan] would’ve made his entire month.

The performance from Tampa Bay’s offense was a footballing marvel, but their defense showcased some loopholes. In the fourth quarter of the game, Tom Brady himself picked up an unfortunate interception, which turned the tide. Fortunately for the Bucs, time was on their side and they escaped with the win.

During a post-game interview, Leonard Fournette revealed Tom Brady called the offense of the team for regular meetings after practices. There, they’d discuss the plays to make and what runs suit the entire team. He even even went on to praise Brady for being a great leader and doing a great job at quarterback.

“The difference not just for me but the unit? Just trying to get our running game together. After practices coming together for an hour and finding out what runs we like as a whole. I just thank God for the second chance. I think we’re all getting comfortable with the runs, and finding that rhythm we like as a whole. Tom calls us together to get it done. He’s a great leader, does a great job of distributing the ball out to everybody.”
