Who remembers when Tom Brady recruited Peter Griffin from Family Guy to the New England Patriots? Family Guy is one of the most beloved sitcoms on American television. The show has been going on for over 20 years. It follows the crazy adventures of the Griffin family as they are always up to something hilarious. 

In an episode named ‘Patriot Games’, Tom Brady was the special guest. In a weird turn of events, he recruits the head of the Griffin family to the Patriots. The entire episode is hilarious and a must-watch for football fans. 

Tom Brady makes a new edition to the New England Patriots roster

The episode features a high school reunion that the Griffin family attends. To impress everyone and not look like a failure, Peter dresses up as an astronaut and tells everyone he’s been to space. But his lie gets caught, and everyone laughs at him.

Disappointed, Peter sits at a table and tries to drink away his sorrows. Suddenly he had to throw up, so he ran through the crowd and rushed into the bathroom. Tom Brady was also attending the reunion and witnessed the entire incident. The GOAT has never seen anyone tackle people like this, so he had to bring Griffin on board. The Patriots quarterback then asks Peter to join the roster.

It was made “official” through a news channel in the show. The journalists announced that a local man is living his dreams by playing for the New England Patriots. Brady said, “We’re really excited to add Peter. I think he would make a great addition to a great team.” Peter Griffin was happy that he finally became somebody and didn’t have to lie to people about his life anymore. 

Peter Griffin vs the Redskins

In his debut match, Peter Griffin and the New England Patriots were playing the Washington Redskins. The Redskins are now known as the Washington Commanders. Peter was very excited to make his debut. He played in the center position. 

During a play, Griffin was supposed to pass the ball to Tom Brady, but he misunderstood his command. Griffin drags Brady and the ball through the Redskins and scores a touchdown. Surprisingly, the newest Patriots player made an instant impact on the field. The Pats won the game. And the Griffin family became very close to Tom Brady. The episode was from season 4. All the football fans should give it a watch.
