The Jerry Jones-owned Dallas Cowboys have been hit with major setbacks over the course of the season thus far. It’s high time that lady luck directed some good fortune in their direction. That was precisely what happened on Sunday to Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb.

The Cowboys took on NFC North big boys Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Lamb pulled off a stunning catch in the first half itself to put his team in a commanding position, heading into the second half.

CeeDee Lamb scores impossible touchdown to hand Dallas Cowboys lead

At the time of writing, the Cowboys ended the first half against the Vikings with a 9-point lead. They had rookie CeeDee Lamb and quarterback Andy Dalton to thank for that scoreline.

The Cowboys were trailing by 1 point in the dying stages of the second quarter. But they were pushing for a touchdown after some good plays made by Andy Dalton. At second and goal, Dalton threw a lofty pass in the end zone directed towards the rook, CeeDee Lamb.

At one point, it appeared that CeeDee might not be able to reach the ball. However, the former Oklahoma College star made an impressive diving effort to score a receiving touchdown and hand his team a much-needed advantage heading into half-time.

Lamb has been one of the few positives for the Cowboys this season. The promising rookie has certainly lived up to all the hype surrounding him and his jersey number 88. Prior to this game, Lamb had 495 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns from 9 games.

Let’s hope the youngster enjoys another strong outing in the second half. The Cowboys are in dire need of a win tonight. Coach McCarthy must realize the change a nice big ‘W’ will bring in his team’s dressing room.
