McVay’s offensive scheme hasn’t worked, as the Rams offense has been lifeless and unable to gain yardage through the second quarter. Accordingly, McVay allowed Stafford to cook a play when the game was on the line. As a result, Stafford made the most incredible throw that made the Rams‘ Super Bowl victory all but inevitable.
