Reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs have been magnificent over the course of the last eight weeks. The Chiefs are 7-1 at the halfway stage of the tournament.

They are well in line to make the NFL Playoffs yet again and remain one of the most explosive outfits in the league. A lot of this credit lies with their franchise quarterback and Super Bowl LIV MVP, Patrick Mahomes.

The former NFL MVP award winner has been an asset for the Chiefs. Mahomes was clinical over the weekend as the Chiefs made their way to a comfortable 35-9 win against the New York Jets.

Patrick Mahomes went 31 of 42, throwing for 416 yards with 5 passing TDs. The Texas-born quarterback made some eye-catching throws on Sunday; however, nothing matched up to that one unrealistic throw during the game.

Patrick Mahomes stuns supporters with this logic-defying throw

Patrick Mahomes managed to defy physics when he made the above throw, which split the New York Jets defense to reach teammate Mecole Hardman.

If one were to watch the above video with the naked eye, it would seem like that Mahomes managed to throw the ball through the  Jets defender guarding him.

But if you pay closer attention to detail, it appears as though the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback uses the defender’s helmet to get a spin on the ball, which ultimately finds its way into Hardman’s hands.

Mahomes made five touchdown passes at the Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. But this one pass stood out from the rest.

The Chiefs sit comfortably atop the AFC West Division table above the second-placed Las Vegas Raiders. They host NFC South franchise Carolina Panthers in Week 9 and are expected to further solidify their lead.
