NFL teams are working in overdrive this past week in order to land their respective free-agent targets. New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, and the New York Jets have been some of the busier teams from the rest of the lot.
The latter recently added DB/ST Justin Hardee to their roster on a 3-year deal. The former New Orleans Saints man ended his 3-year stay with coach Sean Payton in order to move to the Big Apple this summer.
Despite signing a deal worth a reported total of $5.25 million, Hardee will only take home $1 million guaranteed. However, that does not seem to deter the former Saints man who went undrafted at the 2017 NFL Draft.

After failing to impress the Bill O’Brien-coached Houston Texans, Hardee was signed by Sean Payton’s New Orleans Saints in September 2017.
He rose to fame in Week 9 after he blocked a punt by Bryan Anger and returned it for a touchdown in a 30–10 win over NFC South rivals Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His exploits earned him the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
