Rodgers will be in action on the gridiron!
Rodgers will open his action with the Green gang before the regular season scheduled on September 11. Rober Saleh, the head coach of the Jets on Tuesday, divulged that Rodgers will feature in the preseason match against the Giants on coming Saturday at Metlife stadium. “We didn’t want Sept. 11 [the Monday night regular-season opener against the Buffalo] to be the first time he stepped into MetLife’’, said Saleh.
The preseason appearance also marks his return to exhibition plays after a long gap of five years. The QB last played at a preseason match back in 2018 while he was still with the Packers. Rodgers showed up for the last three preseason games on the sidelines, wearing a headset, and observed the game while the 24-year-old Zach Wilson started the matches.
