New York Giants find another loss after mistakes take over throughout their Thursday Night game against Washington football Team. What could have been an easy victory for the Giants turned into an embarrassing 29-30 loss.

Some mistakes were so clear and evident that they could be pointed to specific players. One such mistake was the wide-open catch drop by Darius Slayton, which could have sealed the victory for the Giants.

Another erroneous move by the New York Giants

The Head Coach of New York Giants, Joe Judge, however, did not feel it was necessary to point fingers. He thought their 2 straight losses at the very beginning of the season were not because of that very mistake.

“We’re not going to turn around and put this game on one player, one play,” Judge said. “There’s enough things we can clean up as a team, so we’re not going to go ahead and isolate one incident and say that’s the difference in the game right there. We got to do a lot of things better for 60 minutes.”

Jones threw a deep ball to the wide-open Slayton near the touchline, but the Giants receiver dropped the pass, which could have been an easy touchdown, giving New York a two-score lead with 6:25 to play. With the Giants leading the game with 23-20, the missed opportunity could have sealed the victory right away.

It is now or never for the Giants

A catch this easy in a moment this crucial needs to be made. That catch could have made it easy for the Giants to defend against the Washingtons. This nightmare of a drop gave the home fans in the FedEx Field a treat to watch.

The underdogs Washington took full advantage of this and scored 13 much-needed points in the last quarter to seal a very close win against the Giants. As the mistakes committed by the Giants have started to take a toll in their regular-season games, the head coach has to make amends or face the harsh reality at the end of the season.
