Atlanta Falcons’ Utility player wins netizen’s hearts with this wholesome gesture

Two nights ago, the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Detroit Lions at home. The star of the 20-16 victory was undoubtedly Cordarelle Patterson. The utility player not only scored a rushing touchdown but also returned three punts for 79 yards.

As impressive as Patterson’s on-field performance was, his off-field gesture was even grander. As he was basking in the win walking along the sidelines, the utility player observed a little girl weeping on the sidelines. Cordarrelle immediately asked the girl’s mother for the reason behind the kid’s agony.

In response, Patterson was told by the girl’s mother that she was angry that her bigger brother had a game ball but she didn’t. Cordarrelle isn’t the one to break hearts and he made it up by immediately arranging a ball for the kid. “She needs a ball! Let’s find her a ball,” Patterson said as he requested one of the game balls from the equipment team.
