Michael ‘The Air’ Jordan is one of the most famous figures in the world. He was a major factor in the NBA’s expansion around the globe. Tom Brady is another such figure, the greatest QB to ever play the game, and hailed for evolving the NFL to a worldwide stage. Both players have shown that age is just a number. They see retirements as a temporary pit stop to freshen up and go again.

While Jordan retired from the Bulls but returned to play for the Washington Wizards late in his career. Brady, though, announced his retirement a couple of weeks ago, has left the door open for a future return. Both Brady and Jordan showed that they could play at an elite level, even past their sporting primes.
