“Waste of Talent”: Antonio Brown’s Comparison to Legendary Father Smashes the Door Wide Open

Antonio Brown has shocked the NFL world time and again. Stepping in and out of controversies, making bizarre statements, and behaving erratically have all become a part of the former Bucs  WR’s reputation. While many worry about AB’s well-being, his regular outbursts online have made the NFL world’s patience run thin. And the fans are once again not happy about his latest post on social media.

From calling open season on his former teammates to defending controversial figures, fans’ tolerance for his antics has gradually dropped. Most recently, the disgraced former WR took to Twitter and compared himself to his father. Needless to say, fans did not hold back their criticism.

Condemnation abounded among fans after Antonio Brown took to Twitter

AB took to his favorite platform Twitter to quote tweet a video of some of his fathers’ career highlights. ‘Touchdown’ Eddie brown, was an Arena Football League legend. Renowned for his brilliance as an offensive specialist, there’s no doubt Antonio Brown inherited at least some of his athletic prowess from his father. Arguably one of the greatest players in AFL history, Eddie Brown set the bar quite high.

Taking to Twitter, AB said, “My daddy was a legend imagine what that’s [sic] makes me.” There’s no questioning the WR’s talent. He was definitely on his way to becoming one of the best receivers in the game. But, the downward spiral of his career put a halt to his potential success.

The NFL world can objectively verify the fact that AB was a talented receiver. But unfortunately, his abilities were squandered away over the course of time. Most recently, the bizarre accusations he threw at a former teammate took fans by surprise. The countless controversies and relentless trolling of other players have now become quite annoying for users online. Here’s how fans responded to AB’s tweet.

After being disgracefully kicked out of the league, the chances of the WR ever coming back don’t look too good.
