Washington Commanders have started off their season with a win. With a win against the Cardinals, the team’s spirits are high as they head into Week 2. Under a new owner Josh Harris, the side looks more dominating. Having covered all their bases in a four-point victory over the Cardinals, the Washington team now meets one of its biggest challenges.

Just two days out from the game against the Denver Broncos. The Commanders have been rocked by numerous injuries. It happens to be their key players that started off the team’s campaign on a winning note. There’s a mix of good and bad news for the capital city going forward in the league. There are some injuries but the management would hope that their replacements keep the winning streak alive as the tournament progresses. While the side is facing pressure to go out there and perform with the injuries. They need to cover all the bases and ensure that there are no lapses with injuries to seasoned players.

Well for all the Commanders fans out there. The side is nursing injuries to most of their talented players. The team’s cornerback Quan Martin is reportedly undergoing a concussion and featured on the Did Not Perform (DNP) list. Moving on, the side’s wide receiver Curtis Samuel suffered a hip injury and was deemed under limited status during the practice sessions.

On the offensive line, the team guard Sam Cosmi is currently dealing with a shoulder injury. Moreover, after transitioning to the guard position in early March this year. The jersey number 76 has been dealing with injuries. The other wide receiver too has encountered a toe injury but took full participation in the practice sessions. Chase Young too returned to the practice session after a full neck injury. There’s a huge possibility that the star player will feature in the game against the Broncos. As per Thursday’s injury report, tight end Greg Dulcich pulled his hamstring and didn’t take part in the practice session along with cornerback Riley Moss. The injuries come within days a vociferous Commanders fan was charged with assault when brawls ensued between the players.

However, one such fan who attended the Commanders vs. Cardinals match was charged with assault. The brawl was caught on video and instantly became viral on social media.

The video showcases a man donning a Ray Lewis Ravens jersey taking a beating from a Commander’s fans. Though the crowd tried to intercept the brawl and cool it off, it was all in vain. The man who was identified as a Ravens fan was later seen in an argument with the security guards. Later on, the man was arrested by the Prince George’s County police. He was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and second-degree assault.

As the NFL moves into the business end of things. Commanders have some issues to address and deploy replacements. Moreover, the side would be hoping that their crucial players, especially Chase Young regains complete fitness ahead of their matchup against the Broncos.
