The NFL is the richest sporting league. Even after falling short on appeal on the global stage, the league racks in billions in revenue. One of the major contributors to this factor is the broadcasting rights sold for the games. Following a substantial interest from America and some from the rest of the world, big television channels enter the race to bag these rights for themselves. But this process is now not as simple as it once was. While the technology surrounding broadcasting grows, so does the expected quality of presentation. Big tech firms are entering the fray to fight for their places in the industry. It only spells out challenges to the current casters to step up their game, and this season it looks like they are up for the challenge.

The Green Bay Packers took on the New York Giants on the 9th of October. Apart from the evident decline of Aaron Rodgers, the fans were in awe of something else. During the 4th quarter, a shot which focused on the Giant’s huddle panned out, giving an over-the-top view of all the players present on the pitch. With the high-definition camera and the steady motion work, the fans were in disbelief over the craftsmanship. Some even confused it for a video game instead of a live match. Hence exciting the viewers for the future prospects of broadcasting.

And for this fan, the future looks really diverse, at least when it comes to the available camera angles.
its 2023. we should be able to choose the view we want

For this person, he wants this to be the default view of the game.
I still dont know why they dont broadcast the games in John Madden view behind the QB. In classic view you cant even see the receivers…literally missing one of the most important parts of the game every play.

On the other hand, there were also quite a few who had different feelings while watching this.
Ah yes, the seasickness cam

And this person does acknowledge the problem.
