After a not so applauding first season performance after his move from the Seattle Seahawks, the QB has been in the midst of a lot of criticism regarding his career. And as if this was not enough, fans have started criticizing his relationship with his wife Ciara as well. Recently, the couple made headlines again, as fans questioned their morals after Ciara appeared at the Oscars with her husband in an edgy, revealing dress. This brought in widespread criticism from the fans, as they felt that the mother of three should not be so bold in terms of her choices.

Fans who were not a part of the naysayers went on to compare Wilson and Ciara to Jay-Z and Beyonce’s appearance at the Oscars, calling it a hypocritical move by the haters.

Separate treatment for Ciara and Wilson from Jay-Z and Beyonce irks fans

Fans of the couple expressed their discontentment on social media about how Beyonce and Jay-Z were treated differently than Wilson and Ciara. Beyonce also dazzled in a see-through dress during the 2022 Oscars after-party along with Jay-Z. This was similar in taste to what Ciara wore to this year’s Oscars. But the reception both of them received felt like poles apart from their fans.

Some fans were of the opinion that haters hated the fact that Ciara is married to Russ.

The couple has previously attended a sermon in a prison to spread the word of the Bible. As a result, fans feel that Ciara’s choices do not align with their Christian beliefs.

But one needs to really consider if judging someone’s religious beliefs because of certain choices is really justified. Both Ciara and Wilson have made immense contributions to the betterment of society. So does her choice really reflect her as a human being? It is certainly a topic for fans to ponder upon.
