Gisele Bündchen might be known for leading a luxurious lifestyle and owning big estates across the country; however, the supermodel has always been a village girl from the small town of Horizontina, Brazil. Despite living in her big Boston home, Bündchen loved being close to nature, building a wooden barn near her mansion. A few years ago, the couple sold the house, but she refused to give up her spirit.

While her ex-husband Tom Brady was playing for the New England, the couple shifted their base to Massachusetts, purchasing a big chunk of land. They built a new custom home that sits on a humongous property of 5 acres. It was finally completed in 2015.
The 9,716-square-foot fully furnished home had all kinds of luxuries and amenities that a human could imagine. A big swimming pool, sundeck, spacious organic vegetable garden, gym, spa, and wine room were some other facilities included in the property.

Bündchen made sure that she gets her private space and thus built a 2,400-square-foot barn-style guesthouse near the main house. While speaking to Vogue, the supermodel called that space a ‘sanctuary’ and her working area, where she feels more connected to nature.
Moreover, she also mentioned that the climate in Boston was not something she fancied. It’s too cold for a Brazilian girl who always loved being wrapped under a hot sun. But the only reason she spent ten years in the city was for her family and kids. “Why do I live here? It’s called love,” Bündchen said in the interview.
“I love my husband. My kids were born here, in our old apartment on Beacon Street. They’re little Bostonians, and they love the weather. But I’m not going to lie. Cold is not my flavor. I’m Brazilian. I’d rather live barefoot in a hut in the middle of the forest somewhere.” She added.
Gisele Bündchen bought a new house near Miami beach
Back in 2019, Bündchen and Brady listed their Boston home for a whopping price of $39.5 million. The following year, its price dropped to $33.9 million and eventually sold the mansion in 2020 for $32.5 million.

It was the time when Brady shifted his base to Tampa Bay. Two years later, while Bündchen’s divorce rumors caught the national attention, she purchased a modest home near Miami beach for $1.25 million. Fans would be eager to know if it was her new ‘sanctuary’. Well, to some extent, it is.

The property happens to be a far cry from her usual luxury and spans only 1,540 square feet. She can certainly enjoy the warm climate of Miami, being under the sun for almost the entire year.
