Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen might be rivals on the field but kindness knows no boundaries. Both Allen and Mahomes are part of the much-awaited American Century Championship. In a recent video surfacing on Twitter, Mahomes was seen saving Allen from being hit in the face by a football.
As both walk into the court, a football comes flying in the direction of the Bills’ QB. However, Mahomes quickly leaps to grab the football to avoid any injury to his rival. Much love poured in for Patrick after this gesture and Allen expressed his gratitude immediately.

As the 26-year-old flies off for a one-handed grab, people were in awe of his quick reaction. Mahomes and Allen duo were making their way down to the 17th hole before the potential mishap occurred on the court. Watch the video:

Mahomes ended the day in 51st at the celebrity golfing event. Despite being out of contention for the win, he showed his heroics in a rather great gesture towards his Bills‘ rival.
Who all are a part of the American Century Champion along with Patrick Mahomes and Allen?
Along with the Super Bowl MVP and Bills’ QB, some of the top international golfers and Hall of Famers are participating in the championship. The ACC represents 17 Hall of Famers, 13 Most Valuable Player award-winners like Charles Barkley, Steph Curry, and Aaron Rodgers. In addition to the NFL MVP and NBA greats, celebrities like Nick Jonas are also a part of the glamorous championship.

Moreover, the World Golf Hall-of-Famer, Annika Sorenstam is also a participant in the championship. Earlier, she was second-tied with Mark Mulder. However, she is now displaced to the 17th position while Mulder tops the leaderboard.
As Patrick Mahomes saves the day for Josh Allen, he will be happy with the catch, contrary to his feelings about the position in which he finished at the championship. Nonetheless, his real skills will be tested in the NFL 2022 season where he will attempt to clinch another Lombardi trophy.
