Tannehill’s comments have been receiving major backlash with his comments over mentoring a top-tier draft prospect. He said, “A lot of people, you know, the natural would think that. I feel intimidated, but that’s not the case. We start with Will. Actually, seeing Will playing in high school, with him being in Charlotte. I’m just excited, like I said. For him to come on a team that I know. He possesses a rare talent, and I am excited. For me, it’s my job to put myself and this team in the best situation and to get everybody ready. Whether that’s Will, whether that’s Terry, whether that’s Elijah, whether that’s Christian McCaffrey. Doesn’t matter. I wanna make sure I’m the best teammate in my best self for everyone.”

Ryan Tannehill received a great deal of wrath
Certain people may defend Tannehill, while others may agree with entities that his statements were simply inappropriate. One of them was Rams Legend Kurt Warner, who opposes the approach and keeps his phone line open for guidance or advice. Although, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones has a viewpoint contrary to the Pro-Football Hall of Famer. He saw nothing wrong with Tannehill’s comments at the news conference.
Of course, this is not to argue that Ryan Tannehill is a poor leader and that his response was incorrect. This is a game. However, being blatantly honest isn’t always the right course of action. Here, it might be a good idea to take cues from Cam, who has actually guided Willis previously.
