Every Cowboy hat in Dallas was being carried on a very tense head this past Monday. While the Dallas Cowboys were 12-5 in the regular season, a shaky end to the season had doubters on alert. The situation was not helped by the fact that they would be facing off against Tom Brady in the Wild Card round. The QB had a 7-0 record against the franchise. A lot of the worry was also aimed at Dak Prescott and his ability to turn the ball over.

Prescott had the league-highest 15 interceptions coming into the playoffs. However, the player proved his doubters wrong and led a precise offense against the industrious defense of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On the other hand, there was one department where the team did stutter. At one point, even the QB lost his temper.

Dak Prescott curses out his frustrations

A video going viral on Twitter shows the 29-year-old swearing on the sideline. After one of the TD drives, Prescott and the offense were called off the field for the 1 extra point. As the QB removes his helmet and turns back towards the camera, he screams, “Go for f**king two!”

The fans instantly caught the frustration boiling over and started sharing it. The subject of this outburst was the special team member and Kicker Brett Maher. On one hand, the Cowboys’ offense was flying high tonight, with Dak throwing 4 TDs. On the other hand, Maher missed 4 straight extra-point conversions. Understandably, the QB was not happy with the situation, seeing the scale of the game and the stakes on the line. He wanted a two-point attempt instead of another missed opportunity.

“There was no question before this game Dak was going to have to win it for us … to step out here and go and be the difference. He did. He was. It served notice to everybody – including his teammates, including himself.” Prescott threw for 4 TDs and 305 yards while controlling the game very efficiently.
