Two nights ago, Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers put an end to Arizona Cardinals’ flawless season. The game was tight throughout, and it took late heroics from rookie CB Rasul Douglas to separate the two teams. Green Bay won the game by a score of 24-21, with contributions from Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones. The Packers were leading 17-7 by the third quarter and it looked like a rout before DeAndre Hopkins instilled some life in the Cardinals offense. One of his catches for the Cardinals in the last match via Kyler Murray’s throw left the internet stunned.

DeAndre Hopkins’ slick shoulder feint against the Packers has taken the internet by storm
Despite not being match fit, Hopkins had to make an emergency return for the all-important clash against the Packers. He started the match for the Cardinals but then had to exit owing to a hamstring discomfort. After his exit, the WR had to return once again owing to a poor showing by the Cardinals offense.
In his first-quarter appearance, the wide receiver took a slick catch off Kyler Murray’s 55 yards throw. The highlight of the catch was how well Hopkins evaded his marker with his elite ball play skills, hand-eye coordination, and composure. It truly was a spectacular catch!

Hopkins has been an integral player for the Cardinals this season. In the seven games he has played this year, he has recorded 33 catches for 420 yards and seven touchdowns. He is averaging an impressive 12.7 yards per catch. His seven receiving touchdowns are second in the NFL. Thus it is important to stop a player like him from performing and it looks like Houston’s Desmond King understood some ways to stop Hopkins after their bout.
“Just making sure that you are playing him, playing the ball,” King offered on ways to stop Hopkins. “He’s a receiver that when the ball is thrown his way, nine times out of 10, he’s going to come down with it. As long as we are in the area and competing for all the way until the ball is thrown to, the ball is down and whistle blown. That’s all that we can do,” he haplessly finished.
DeAndre Hopkins on song is a joy to watch. Wishing him all the best for a speedy recovery!
