Gisele Bündchen has always been a brand ambassador for good health. She takes to exercise and meditation and maintains a strict schedule to ensure that she stays on top of her health. She even took Jiujitsu classes that went viral. The model has gone on to take her health a lot more seriously since her days of smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee. In her 2018 memoir, the supermodel wrote about the various measures she took for her fitness and well-being and the one path that didn’t work for her.

In her book, ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’, Gisele spoke about her attempts to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle. However, she later on went to reveal that there were several conscious health reasons for not indulging in a vegetarian diet.

Why did Gisele Bündchen not succeed in vegetarianism?

In her memoir, Gisele explained in length how she conducted her life. She has spoken about how her personal life had been. In addition to that, the Brazilian bombshell also detailed her diet and her futile attempt at vegetarianism. Bündchen wasn’t able to last more than 10 months. She explained her position and said, “I lasted only ten months and then I got anemic again. Whether it has to do with my blood type or my body type or what, I’m still not quite sure, but I now accept that a vegetarian diet doesn’t work for me.”

Furthermore, the model also has a great way of going about her diet. In fact, Bündchen has based a huge part of her diet on plant-based foods. However, unlike her former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback ex-husband Tom Brady, she hasn’t been able to go fully vegan. So what is the 42-year-old former ramp queen consuming?

Bündchen’s brilliant diet

Gisele maintains a great regime when it comes to the food she ingests. As per Everyday Health, the model usually eats a lot of plant-based organic food. Her diet consists of anti-inflammatory components. Furthermore, she has also cut a lot of food items from her list as part of her sacrifice for her good health. These include white sugar, white flour, MSG, coffee, caffeine, fungus, dairy, and fruit. The model also maintains a stellar lifestyle with different kinds of physical activities like yoga, Pilates, and meditation.

All in all, Gisele Bündchen has enjoyed a long and illustrious fashion career. And her healthy lifestyle in terms of her diet and her activities had a lot to do with that. Looks like she did all right without the vegan journey that her ex-husband thrived on.
