Thanksgiving in Dallas was a merry affair, as the home team Dallas Cowboys beat division rivals the New York Giants. And aiding Dallas in their win over the Giants was none other than CeeDee Lamb. Although he did not score any touchdowns, he sure played his part by putting up a wonderful show for all watching.

Lamb’s two one-handed catches left fans and players mesmerized. Interestingly, he made both catches with his right hand, prompting the question, ‘what happened to his left?’

Thankfully, nothing dreadful. Lamb gave reporters the reason why he stuck to using his right hand on both occasions, and it is hilarious. Apparently, the Giants love him so much that they refused to let go of his hand throughout the game! “To be honest, I had been getting held all night,” said Lamb. “They were holding one arm, it was the same arm, the left one — so, I only had the right hand and had to start using it.”

Even though Lamb did not influence the scoreboard directly, he had some great moments setting up 3 touchdown plays for the Dallas offense. And though one of his one-handed catches resulted in a touchdown play, one other got ruled out as out of bounds.

Lamb caught Dak Prescott‘s pass in the Giants’ end zone, but apparently, his heel touched the line before both his feet landed in the end zone. Although the Cowboys, sure of their man getting a touchdown, challenged the ruling, the referees refused to overturn it.

CeeDee Lamb has fans confirming his ‘holding my arm’ reasoning

It seems the NFL community took it upon themselves to back CeeDee Lamb’s claims about the Giants defending him. Fans, ecstatic after Lamb’s stunning performance, took no time in beefing up their favorite receiver’s claims.

Thursday’s win has the Cowboys safely in second place in the NFC East, behind leaders Philadelphia Eagles. Although a playoff spot by virtue of being league leaders seems out of hand, their performance this season should be able to guarantee them a wildcard spot at the very least. With the regular season left with only a few more games, the Cowboys will have to ensure they do not slip up.
