The fastest man alive has openly expressed his love for American Football for a while now. There were even rumors that Usain Bolt was approached with a career opportunity in the NFL. Even though he did not pursue that said opportunity, he has always stayed close to the NFL world. He is a true fanboy for the Packers but he respects the grind when he sees it. His interview back in 2020 made rounds all over the internet when he showered praise for the Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.

Bolt was heartbroken after the Packers‘ loss against the 49ers in the conference championship. The 49ers were about to face the Chiefs in the finale, and he discussed how he felt in the interview pre-game.

Usain Bolt loves Patrick Mahomes’ leadership

Bolt was definitely rooting for the Chiefs as the 49ers had defeated his team. He wanted revenge and he knew Mahomes had what it takes to win in the final. He expressed his feelings about a championship game when the Chiefs were 21 points behind but after Mahomes‘ entry in the game, it had all changed. Bolt quoted, “They were down 21 points…Then I saw him on the bench shouting at the guys, I was like oh! it’s gonna get serious

Bolt was amazed at the Chiefs‘ comeback after Mahomes’ return to the field. He added that an athlete’s ability to change a game so fast requires leadership and Mahomes has that. He loved how the two times MVP took charge of the ground and the who whole game came in their favor.

The eight-time gold medalist praised Mahomes’ ability to lead such a high-intensive game despite being a young athlete. And then the Cheifs went on to win the Super Bowl after Bolt’s intense support toward the team and especially for the star QB. Now that it’s in the past, even in 2023, Bolt is often brought up in the NFL world.

Bolt’s “rivalry” with Tyreek Hill

Being labeled as the ‘Fastest Man Alive‘ comes with several challenges. One of them being, constantly challenged by NFL players in a run-off. Tyreek Hill has challenged Bolt several times in a race and claimed that he could beat him in a heartbeat. Tyreek recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast and threw shades on Bolt yet again. They have gone back and forth for the challenge, but it’s only over the internet.

Usain Bolt still enjoys NFL very much and has been a constant topic of discussion in the league. Even though Tyreek has won a few medals and claims he is faster than Bolt, the latter has been doing it for years and has been at the top of his field. And let’s not forget about the age gap between the two. Tyreek is regarded as the fastest player in NFL but Bolt beats him by a mile. But, if there was a face-off between the two, it would be a sight to see.
