In an Instagram post uploaded by the official handle of Madden, Rob Gronkowski drops a subtle hint about the next cover star. The clip captioned, “Verified Who will grace the cover of #Madden24 👀” by the @eamaddennfl handle showcases Gronkowski going through the previous games.

Rob ends the clip asking, “Who’s going to be on the cover this year, We’ll see.” This was a subtle hint at a potential return to the Madden cover after a 7 year absence. This post also posed doubts at another star who has been rumored to take on the Madden mantle in 24.

Josh Allen sparks unrest from fans as a potential cover star for the game

Rumors have been persisting surrounding Josh Allen as he is in the mix to become the next cover star for Madden. He needs to tackle more than just the wrath of the fans as he will need to address the ‘Madden Curse’. The dreaded curse has seen many stars in the path underperform in the game seeing their performances spiral down.

Fans are not appreciative of the idea of Allen heading the cover, as he did not make the Super Bowl in any of the last three seasons. With minimal influence on the biggest stage in the NFL.
