During the interview with Pat, he was asked about his thoughts on being underpaid despite his outstanding skills. However, during the interview, a part of the video was cut off by ESPN, leading to suspense. The missing part was about the current disparity between the tight end and wide receiver.  Nonetheless, he acknowledged that he doesn’t pay attention to the noise and is content with his salary. Kelce even said he knows he gets “paid as f**k.” Pat McAfee, who was conducting the interview, was thrilled with this response, as seen on his verified YouTube handle. Kelce then hinted toward his positive side as he said, “I just do what I love and um I have a lot of fun coming into this building every single day so me hiding out and not being in here you know I just don’t see a scenario where that happens.”He even hinted at the fact that he doesn’t want the money factor to come in the way of his passion for football as he says, ” I don’t want um kind of affected because of the money situation at hand so I let my agents handle all that they can be the bad guys of you know what I should and should not be getting.” Moreover, he felt very fortunate with the value he got from the match.
