One of them was when Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman forgot the play call. However, Brady came to his rescue, and with his leadership, guided Edelman to score a big touchdown in a game of high magnitude.

This instance happened during the game between the New England Patriots and the Tennessee Titans. This was during the last year of Tom Brady’s career in New England. As Edelman described, Brady shouted at him to remind him of the play. Later, Julian Edelman was able to score an easy touchdown despite forgetting the play initially.

There were persistent rumors regarding the return of Julian Edelman to football. If he had come back, either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the New England Patriots would have loved to have him on board.

However, that seems unlikely now. It’s primarily because Rob Gronkowski announced his return. A potential Patriots reunion was on the cards with Gronk, Brady, and Edelman. As of now, it’s looking like Brady will be alone to carry the Bucs next season.
