The Eagles picked Davis in the first round of the 2022 draft. Davis’ placement on the injured reserve indicates that the defensive tackle will miss all the games in the next month. Only then it will be determined whether he can return to play.

Philadelphia Eagles’ potential record

The Eagles will definitely feel Davis’ absence on the field. But will this affect their performance?

Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon said that he felt good about the present team. He said, “We always talk about how that’s one of the reasons we cross-train guys, to be able to plug and fill different spots when guys go down or get injured.”

Eagles fans will hope what Ganon said holds up as they try to continue their winning streak.

The Eagles take on the Texans

The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Houston Texans during their Week 9 face-off. The Eagles are currently undefeated, at 7-0. On the other hand, the Texans are at a disappointing 1-5-1. The Eagles will be travelling to Houston in hopes of leaving at 8-0. If the Eagles leave victorious, they will establish a franchise record.

Texans fans will clutch on to slim hope of winning. The team has an 0-5 record against the Eagles. A victory at home would be a treat for the fans.
