An injury setback of this sort is a worrying signal for the coach and the GOAT. However, the duo will pin hopes on the youngsters as they face the Dennis Allen-coached Saints. The Bucs cannot take the opponents lightly as they won the NFL championship in 2010.

How the Bucs players got injured

At the AdventHealth Training Center, wide receiver Mike Evans suffered a calf strain. Hence, he abstained from taking part in the practice. He tried hands-on training on Wednesday but it went in vain, as per the team’s medical reports.

The Saints are also affected by a few injury issues. Their main running back, Alvin Kamara (ribs), and cornerback Paulson Adebo (ankle) are doubtful beginners, as they did not come for the training on Thursday.
