The Walter Payton MOTY has a nationwide charity challenge, and a Chiefs athlete has swept it for the last three seasons. Patrick Mahomes became this year’s challenge winner after Travis Kelce and Tyrann Mathieu. The QB1 would receive $25,000, donated to his ‘15 and the Mahomies’ foundation.

After winning the WPMOY Charity Challenge, Patrick Mahomes sent a message to the Chiefs Kingdom. The Kansas City QB1 acknowledged the appreciation they gave him “on and off the field” and urged him to make Kansas City a better place.
