The world-famous boxer Tyson Fury has decided to pull the trigger on his retirement. After his bout with Dillian Whyte, the Gypsy King has decided to step away from active in-ring competition. Fury might take a page out of the book of NFL quarterback Tom Brady and unretire in the future. Because just after knocking out his opponent, he called out UFC champion Francis Ngannou.

Back when the GOAT retired, Fury sent out a message. He congratulated Brady and wanted to celebrate with the New England Patriots fans. After watching how happy the boxer looked, a question rose in everybody’s mind. Are Tom Brady and Tyson Fury friends?

Tom Brady and Tyson Fury attended a blockbuster fighting event in 2020

Sports unite people. It has for hundreds of years. But when it comes to a star-studded crowd, nothing is bigger than UFC or boxing events. Back in 2020, the UFC held a big-budget pay-per-view at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone headlined this event. It was a special night because it was the return of the Notorious Irishman to the octagon. Many big-name celebrities attended the show.

Among those big names were Tom Brady and Tyson Fury. During the event, we know that Brady met with the president of the UFC, Dana White. But there is a possibility that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback could have met the Gypsy King as well. The fans cheered loudly when the cameraman showed Brady on the big screen. The British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury was more invested in the return of McGregor. He tipped the fighter to return to the octagon. The fight was spectacular. The Mystic Mac returned to action in style. It looked like he never lost a step. McGregor TKO-ed Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds.

The Gypsy King congratulated Brady on his retirement

When the GOAT announced his retirement, the entire world was caught off-guard. But Tyson Fury had a positive message for Brady and the fans of New England.

“Tyson Fury here, congratulations to Tom Brady on retiring,” he adds, “And don’t worry, New England fans, the big Gypsy King loves you and I’ll come over for a parade and a proper party. Get Up there my boy!” Well before Fury could parade with the fans, Brady returned to the gridiron. It seems like both the athletes share a bond through sports.
