Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is undoubtedly one of the fastest players in the NFL. Before entering the world of the NFL, the four-time All-Pro was a track star during his high school days. Now, Tyreek Hill decided to flaunt this inborn talent on speed off the field of the NFL. The WR recently took part in a track race and left all the other competitors in a speck of dust.

Tyreek Hill left everyone in a state of awe as he dashed toward the finish line like the flash, without much competition from the other sprinters.

Tyreek Hill dashes ahead to win the 60-meter track race

On Saturday, Tyreek Hill once again proved to the NFL world why he has earned the nickname the Cheetah. The WR won the men’s 60-meter sprint at the USA Track and Field Masters Indoor Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. In a video shared on Instagram, we see Tyreek Hill leaving all his opponents in the dust, as he blazed past them to win the race.

Tyreek completed the race with an impressive time of 6.70 seconds. He spectacularly breezed past all his opponents, proving once again his status as the Usain Bolt of the NFL. He also sported a speed suit from his alma mater, Coffee High School, during the race.

The WR also recently received a contract re-adjustment from the Miami Dolphins for the upcoming season in the NFL. The team converted Tyreek Hill’s $16 million salary and $10 million roster bonus into a $1.16 million salary and $24.285 million bonus. This opens up a considerable amount of cap space for the team to go ahead and bring more firepower to their arsenal.

A sense of nostalgia for the Cheetah

Amidst all the updates taking place in the wide receiver’s career, Tyreek Hill must have felt a sense of nostalgia breeze past him the same way he breezed toward victory in the race. As a high schooler, Tyreek had won state titles in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and long jump competitions. Apart from this, he was also an All-American in the Indoor 200-meter dash at Oklahoma State. 

As the new season of the NFL slowly approaches, fans will be waiting to see the cheetah back in action on the field again. The Dolphins have a weapon in the form of Tyreek. It will be interesting to see the changes the franchise makes to its roster to come up and become one of the formidable contenders for the upcoming season.
