The departure of Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs shocked many people. Nobody saw it coming, as Hill was a crucial part of the Chiefs system. He departed after contract talks had broken down between him and the franchise. Tyreek Hill didn’t receive an offer that seemed appropriate according to him.
‘The Cheetah’ was rewarded with a lofty contract by the Miami Dolphins. He joined the franchise of highest-paid WRs in the league, and Tyreek Hill believed he deserved it. Even though the Dolphins aren’t as good a fit for him as the Chiefs were, Hill is happy with what he has right now.

In his appearance on the It Needed To Be Said podcast, Tyreek Hill opened up on his exit from the Kansas City Chiefs. The main reason behind his exit was the money that the franchise offered him. Hill didn’t think the amount offered to him was near what he deserved.
Hill said, “I tried my best. I talked to the big man, [head coach] Andy Reid. I talked to the quarterback. I’m like, ‘Look, can we make something happen? Can we make something happen, Can the guaranteed money make sense to me? Can it make sense to my family, please?'”
Tyreek Hill further said, “I don’t care about notoriety, though, I don’t care about none of that. The only thing I care about is respect within the building. Notoriety outside the building, I don’t care about none of that, man. Because none of that ain’t gonna win us games on Sunday.”

Tyreek Hill without Patrick Mahomes? How will it look on the field?
Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill were one of the best duos in the NFL. Their chemistry on the field was unmatchable. It was sensational to watch Mahomes throw those long bombs into Hill’s hands. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case anymore, as Tyreek Hill will be playing with Tua Tagovailoa instead.
Tua’s arm strength isn’t similar to Mahomes’, which is why doubts start to creep in regarding Tyreek Hill’s effectiveness with the Dolphins. Even though Hill has admitted that he has enjoyed playing with Tua Tagovailoa, only an eye test will tell whether those two can work well together.
