Miami Dolphins wide receiver, Tyreek ‘Cheetah’ Hill wanted to follow up on one of his close friends in the league. Both Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman used to share a locker room back in Kansas, and their bond is still as strong as ever.

The former Kansas City Chiefs teammates have had their fair share of ups and downs over the years. Tyreek Hill’s speed and acceleration made him one of the best receivers in the entire NFL, but his departure in the 2022 season saw Hardman come into his own.

Now, with Mecole Hardman approaching free agency, Hill wants an update on his former teammate but looks like Hardman has been dodging him.

Tyreek Hill wants Meloce Hardman?

Both Tyreek Hill and Meloce Hardman seem to be completely enamored by each other’s skills. While Hardman has always been appreciative of Hill, the Cheetah has also returned the favor.

Back in 2022, Hill responded to a Twitter prompt, “The best WR in the NFL right now is.”

As many expected Hill to take his own name, the Super Bowl champion surprised everyone with his response.

Ironically though, Hill was leading the league in terms of receiving yards, but his response showcased pure class and an acute eye for the game.

According to an ESPN report, the Chiefs are set to lose a number of their vital pieces, including wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

Maybe this prompted Hill to go out of his way and reach out to his former stand-in. Who knows, maybe the Miami Dolphins could be the ideal landing spot for Hardman, and it’s safe to assume that these two-speed monsters together could definitely roll back the years.

Do fans smell something cooking?

The NFL fans love staying well-informed about their favorite athletes, and maybe that’s why most of them are lingering all over Twitter looking for the juiciest of scoops.

Hill’s tweet also did not go unnoticed as many fans started putting two and two together.

Many felt that Tyreek Hill’s post was just his own indirect way of recruiting Hardman.

One fan went on to say, “Bring him to MIA“, which I am guessing meant Miami

While another felt that Hardman is not done with the Chiefs

Most fans just wanted Hill to get Hardman over to the Dolphins.

With most fans fixated on the NFL trade circus, Hill’s efforts to reach out to his good buddy Mecole Hardman would definitely be reciprocated. Although from a positional perspective, the Dolphins are in dire need of an LB, maybe recruiting Hardman is just the first of many.
